Any club that has a valid and current membership with USA Artistic Swimming can advertise coach openings free of charge as a benefit to our membership. These openings are distributed via email messaging, Instagram story and website posting once monthly. Each month, these listings are cleared and clubs must renew the listing by emailing kennedy@usaartisticswim.org.

The list will be cleared on the first Monday of every month.

Job Opening: Assistant Coach – Atlanta Artistic Swimming 

Location: Alpharetta, GA (Windward Lake Club) and Norcross, GA (West Gwinnett Aquatic Center) 
Position Type: Part-Time

Atlanta Artistic Swimming is a growing club dedicated to introducing youth to the beauty, discipline, and fun of artistic swimming (formerly known as synchronized swimming). We offer recreational and competitive programs for swimmers of all ages and levels in a supportive and inclusive environment. 

We are currently seeking a passionate and reliable Assistant Coach to join our team and support our head coaches during practices and performances. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with planning and leading practice sessions for Little Mermaid, Novice and Intermediate groups 

  • Help teach and demonstrate swimming, dryland, and artistic swimming skills 

  • Provide individual feedback to swimmers and help foster a positive team atmosphere 

  • Ensure the safety and engagement of athletes in and out of the water 

  • Communicate effectively with the head coach and other staff 

Qualifications: 

  • Background in swimming, artistic swimming, gymnastics, or coaching is preferred 

  • Beginner coaches are welcome! 

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills 

  • CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) 

  • Availability 1–3 times per week, including Saturdays for Little Mermaid classes (some flexibility available)

South Shore Sea Dragons 

The South Shore Sea Dragons are looking for additional coaches for the 2025-2026 season! We offer both recreational and competitive programming for athletes, and we're currently home to swimmers competing at the Novice and Intermediate levels. We're excited to expand our competitive teams into the Age-Group, Youth, AWD, and Masters divisions. 

Our practice facility is located 30 miles south of Boston, making these positions ideal for those working or attending school in Boston, but choosing to live outside the city limits. Our teams practice five days a week, including weekends. We are open to working with the schedules of qualified candidates and offering flexibility when possible.  

We are looking for passionate individuals who are dedicated to fostering the growth of our athletes both in artistic swimming and as individuals. Coaches of all experience levels are encouraged to apply. 

These positions are paid at an hourly rate, with support provided for coaching certifications.

THills Synchro 

Looking for highly motivated and dedicated coaches to start asap working with artistic swimming athletes. THills Synchro has been in existence for over 40 years and is Oregon’s only public artistic swimming club. We have athletes of all levels (introductory to age group competitive and Masters). We have an active board of directors led by athlete parents. 

 

Ideal candidates will have the ability and passion to inspire athletes to pursue the rigors of the sport with confidence, self-esteem, courage, and competence while ensuring the team atmosphere and culture promotes growth and harmony.   

 

Ideal candidates will have: 

Experience in artistic swimming as an athlete or coach 

Experience with working with swimmers of different skill levels 

Willing to participate in local, regional and national meets as needed  

 

Duties are dependent upon coaching position and will include but are not limited to: 

  • Create workout plans, practice schedules and routines for squads 

  • Foster growth and excellence with our Novice and Intermediate squads 

  • Be up to date with the most current USAAS rules  

  • Work in collaboration within a team of coaches  

  • Build and maintain effective working relationship with the athletes, coaching staff, and Board of Directors 

Qualifications: 

  • Certifications: CPR/First Aid, Certification as Coach with USA Artistic Swimming (CCP2), or in-process. 

Benefits: 

  • Wage varies dependent upon experience 

  • Work Hours:  

  • Coaching hours vary ranging from 4-8 hours weekly (excluding competitions) 

  • Meetings: vary from 2-7 hours monthly 

  • Possible work from home opportunities (music cutting/choreography, practice planning, routine writing, etc.) 

Tallahassee Serinas Artistic Swimming  

The Tallahassee Serinas, an established team in Tallahassee, FL since 1967, is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Coaches to join our dynamic coaching staff. Our team is committed to fostering growth, skill development, and a love for artistic swimming in young athletes. 

Ideal candidates will have:
