USA Artistic Swimming Brings 2025 National & Junior Championships to a Close in Greensboro, NC

The 2025 National & Junior Championships concluded on Sunday following three and a half days of outstanding competition at the renowned Greensboro Aquatic Center. The event welcomed 42 Artistic Swimming clubs from across the country, bringing together 572 athletes across Junior, Senior, and Athletes with Disabilities (AWD) divisions to compete in over 17 events.

The final day brought thrilling performances and emotional victories. Scottsdale Synchro made a resounding impact, capturing the Junior Team High Point Trophy and earning multiple individual accolades. Mona Schwickert was named High Point Athlete of the Year after a remarkable showing across numerous disciplines, consistently reaching the podium. Scottsdale’s Head Coach, Olivia Zhang, was honored as Coach of the Year for her exceptional leadership and the team’s standout success in a highly competitive field.

In the Junior division, New Canaan Aquinas broke through the dominance of long-established programs to make their mark. The team earned the Junior High Point Team Award, and Head Coach Lara Mase was recognized as Junior Coach of the Year for her unwavering dedication, passion, and leadership that inspired her athletes throughout the competition.

Eloise Krigbaum of Walnut Creek Aquanuts was also celebrated, earning Junior High Point Athlete of the Year honors for her captivating performances and top tier finishes over the weekend.USA Artistic Swimming now turns its focus to the upcoming Youth & 12U Championships, set to take place later this week at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
