USA Artistic Swimming is pleased to announce the hiring of an Athlete Safety and Membership Manager to work in the national office in Colorado Springs. Kelly Premo has accepted the position and will begin to take on responsibilities relating to the role today.
Kelly is well-versed in the national governing body structure and membership needs and has a passion for customer service. She began her collegiate education at the University of Wisconsin where she obtained her B.S. in Kinesiology. Upon graduation, she decided to continue her studies and attended the University of Washington for their Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership graduate program. During her time in graduate school, Kelly worked as a Development Events and Operations Graduate Assistant for the University of Washington's athletics department. Prior to that position, she worked in the department specifically serving Olympic sport operations at the collegiate level. Kelly also has a recreation and parks background having worked with the Lombard Park District in Illinois. She comes to USA Artistic Swimming from USRowing where she served initially as a Membership Coordinator and earned a promotion to Associate just three months into the job.
Kelly relocated to Colorado Springs in May of 2021 and she has been extremely enthusiastic about immersing herself into the NGB world ever since. Kelly's relationship building and customer service skills will help her to execute the duties of the job exceptionally well.
“There is so much opportunity to grow the sport of artistic swimming and I am excited to be part of the impact the national governing body is making. I'm confident my professional experience will allow me to serve our membership base at a high level,” Kelly said.
